Chair, Social Media & Interim Webmaster

Andy is the Chair of The RSA and a North West Branch committee member & joined the Central Committee in 2016.

Taking over the role of Travel Rep, Andy re-established the Travel Club and brought on board some new travel partners offering discounts to our members.

Andy joined the CAA in 1973. Between 1973 and retirement with NATS in 2010,Andy served at LATCC, Preston ATCC, Liverpool Airport, Manchester Airport & Centre. Various roles were undertaken as an ATCA / ATSA including Statistical Unit, A side, Clearance Delivery operator, interviewer, trainer & Watch Managers Assistant.

In 2018 the RSA established it’s own Facebook Group with Andy as the administrator.

2023 the RSA travel club organisation was transferred to Janet Firminger.

Andy has overseen the new website, new logo & revised Contrail in conjunction with the central committee and has assumed a temporary role of webmaster to the new URL during the transition of websites.
