John's career started at West Drayton in 1974 , As an ATCA3.
He was posted to Prestwick, then Scottish centre , from where he joined 58 course on his cadetship.
He was employed at Glasgow, Edinburgh, as an ATCO / assistant 2 also briefly worked at Luton and London city airports.
John has 4 grown up children and 6 grandchildren, and is still living on the south side of Glasgow .
He enjoys travelling, and played 5 a side football up to 3 years ago .


After 37years work at NATS / CAA, John went to work with Jet2.
